Prior to moving to NH his law enforcement career was in Broward County South Florida. He was with the Oakland Park Department of Public Safety for 28 years and received 17 decorations for outstanding work in the field. During his time there, his assignments varied from Patrol, Narcotics, Vice, the Intelligence Unit, Organized Crime Unit, and 12 years as a Lieutenant in the Major Case Unit.
He is an adjunct instructor for the University of Louisville (SPI) and the University of Northern Florida (IPTM) teaching in both the Homicide Investigation Program and the Sex Crimes Investigation program. He is a Senior Crime Scene Analyst certified by the International Association of Identification.
His personal interests vary between the water and the road. He is a licensed scuba diving Instructor, a Coast Guard licensed boat captain of both sail and power vessels up to 15 gross ton. Chuck has an interest in antique automobiles and is a writer of short stories.
